Celebrate Health-System Pharmacy Week and Pharmacy Technician Day by entering the inaugural MSHP Pharmacy Technician Photo Contest! Show us what teamwork looks like! 

To participate: 

1. Organize a group of 2-10 pharmacy technicians. Get everyone's agreement to participate and collect all IG handles.
2. Review the guidelines below and take your group pic. 
3. Write a brief caption essay (100-250 words) focused on teamwork using the following prompt: What does this photo say about pharmacy technicians or your pharmacy team? How does the photo show teamwork or how do the people in the photo work as a team?
4. Submit the names and IG handles of your group, the photo, and your contact information via the submission form below. Submission deadline: 10/9/2026. 
5. Follow MSHP on IG (@mshprx) and vote for your picture from 10/12-10/19. Feel free to share and promote your post!
6. Winning group to be announced via IG on Pharmacy Technician Day (10/21).

Prize:

The winning group will receive custom MSHP t-shirts for all members of the group! Make sure the address included below can receive a package during the day. The MSHP office will coordinate with the group coordinator to send instructions on how to gather orders and when to expect the shipment.  

Rules and Guidelines

• Maximum of 10 participants per photo entry.
  
• Follow all department and hospital policies regarding cell phones, photography, and taking pictures in the workplace.
  
• Protect patient privacy. Do not include patients, patient information, medication labels, computer screens, paperwork, or other confidential information in your photo.
  
• Make sure everyone pictured agrees to be photographed and posted on social media
  
• Photos must be appropriate, professional, and workplace safe.
  
• Do not disrupt patient care, pharmacy operations, sterile compounding, or safety procedures to take a photo.
  
• Photos must be original and submitted by the participant/team.
• Basic editing, such as cropping or adjusting brightness, is allowed. AI-generated images are not permitted.

Submission Form

By submitting the form, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions: 

1. You keep full ownership of your photos, but by sharing your entry, you give MSHP permission to share, repost, and use your photo across our website, social channels, and marketing materials without royalty fees.
2. You confirm that the photo is entirely your own work, doesn't violate anyone else's rights, and that you have permission from anyone recognizable in the shot.
3. This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.
4. MSHP reserves the right to check entry eligibility and adjust or cancel the contest if needed.
