MedSafety Webinar Series Learning Objectives:

  1. List two factors that may cause patient harm in the topic discussed.
  2. List two potential interventions that may prevent patient harm.
  3. Describe the role of pharmacists in optimizing medication safety.

The activity-specific objectives are:

  1. Describe how a malaria management order set coupled with high-alert product labeling can optimize treatment and monitoring
  2. Identify risks associated with clindamycin administration and approaches to promote safer alternatives
  3. Discuss processes to mitigate medication misadventures arising from amphotericin b ordering, dispensing and administration

Completion
